Flowers by Cina has been operating since 1960 as a family owned business. Cina was the original owner who founded Flowers by Cina and was the Grandmother of the current owner Melissa McGowan. Melissa started out in the floral industry as a teenager working part-time. While attending college she worked her way up to lead designer. Though other career choices came calling after college, Melissa always dreamed of going back to her roots and operating the family business.
With a passion for wedding and event décor Melissa focused on expanding a retail florist into a company with an emphasis on weddings and special events. Every event is uniquely designed and created by Melissa to ensure that a client’s vision is achieved. The staff of Flowers by Cina share in her enthusiasm and go above and beyond to create original designs that are eye-catching.
